The short version: use Bantergram to talk with your own website visitors, do not use it to spam or harm anyone, and remember that it depends on Telegram being up.
What Bantergram is
A chat widget for your website that relays conversations into a Telegram group, one topic per visitor, and sends your replies back. Some features depend on your plan.
Your account
You need a working email address, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us quickly if you think someone else got in.
Fair use
Please do not use Bantergram to:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages,
- share malware, or content that is illegal where you or your visitors are,
- harass people or collect data about them that you have no right to,
- get around plan limits, or hammer the service in a way that hurts other customers,
- break Telegram's own terms of service.
We may pause a site or an account that does any of this. When we can, we will tell you first.
Your content
Your messages and your visitors' messages belong to you and to them. You give us permission to store and relay them so the service can work, and for nothing else.
Plans and limits
Each plan has limits on sites, conversations per month, attachment size and history. They are listed on the pricing page. We may change plans or prices, and paying customers get at least 30 days of notice by email.
Payments
Card billing is being built. Until it is ready, paid plans are switched on by hand. Once billing is live, paid plans renew monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. When you cancel, you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Availability
We work hard to keep Bantergram running, and we do not promise it will never go down. It depends on Telegram, which we do not control. If Telegram is unavailable or changes how bots and groups work, parts of Bantergram may stop working for a while.
Ending things
You can stop using Bantergram and delete your sites whenever you like. We can close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give customers at least 30 days of notice.
Liability
Bantergram is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or missed sales, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email customers before the change takes effect. Questions go to hello@bantergram.com.
